Wooners
Wooners (formerly Loods3) is a family-run home goods store with 8 locations throughout East and West Flanders. Customers can find home decor, kitchenware, cleaning products, seasonal items, and more—always at competitive prices. What the customer doesn’t see but is crucial to every day of business: a network that works. Cash registers, payment terminals, inventory management—all these systems rely on connectivity that simply cannot fail.
Eight locations, but no overview of the whole picture
Wooners expanded to 8 stores across East and West Flanders. That growth also brought network challenges. Each location had its own unique situation: a different internet solution, a different provider, and a different way of working. If there were problems at a store, they wouldn’t become apparent until someone had already been working on them for hours. There was no central overview, no uniform standard, and no clear line of communication to support.
For a retail chain where point-of-sale systems and payment terminals must be online day in and day out, that’s not an option. If the connection goes down, the store comes to a standstill. Not just figuratively.
The same solution in every store, from day one
Amplr installed a standardized network solution across all locations. Every store now operates on the same basis: stable internet with automatic failover that takes over when the landline goes down. The local network is managed centrally via amplr.cloud. From a single dashboard, the Wooners team can view the status of each location, see which devices are connected, and identify where a problem is arising before it escalates into an outage that affects customers or employees.
Proactive monitoring means that, in most cases, Amplr is already on the job before Wooners even knows it. Resolved remotely, without sending anyone out on-site.
One point of contact. Eight times the assurance.
Wooners no longer has to spend energy coordinating network issues on a location-by-location basis. The point-of-sale systems are up and running. The payment terminals remain online. The team has a single point of contact for everything related to connectivity, and that point of contact knows who they are and what the issue is.
Every new location that opens is connected to the same infrastructure. Same network. Same management. Same security.
"Then we'd rather pay for something that actually works."
